I've setup a scene as per jamis post, and when I render I get the image below ... not much like the image in the book.
Any clues as to were to look for this ... it's looking like there's a bit (or alot) of acne in there ... but also it looks surprisingly like the image WITH fresnel implmented (?!)
Second image is I turn the initial "remaining" parameter to colourAt in my render function from 4 to 5.
