May I get some transformation formula to make good ring pattern. I make some transformations but my pattern always look weird.

Here is my transformation for the image attache above: RotationY(-0.5) * RotationX(-0.3) * Scale(0.125,0.125,0.125)

Any suggestion is appreciate.
